Closed by December 31? Selling one home before buying another? Those details change the strategy, so figure out what “before the end of the year” actually means for you. 2️⃣Know your numbers early: If you’re buying, talk to your lender and get a clear picture of your budget before you start seriously looking. If you’re selling, let’s look at your home, the current market, and what prep would make the biggest difference before we launch. 3️⃣Start narrowing things down now: Neighborhoods, commute, schools, space, lifestyle, non-negotiables. The clearer you are going in, the easier it is to recognize the right opportunity when it comes along. Remember: year end move doesn’t mean everything has to happen tomorrow… you just need to give yourself enough time to make proper decisions instead of rushed ones. A few things I’d want you to know before you start looking for a home👇🏼 🏡Your neighborhood matters more than you think: LA can feel completely different from one neighborhood to the next. Before choosing based on a zip code or a beautiful house, think about how you actually want your everyday life to look 🚗“Close” is relative here: A few miles on the map can be a very different commute depending on the time of day. Where you work, where your kids go to school, and where you spend your free time should all factor into your search ☀️Even the weather changes across LA: Coastal mornings in Santa Monica can feel very different from a sunny afternoon farther inland. If being near the ocean, warmer temperatures, or a certain lifestyle matters to you, tell your agent early 🌴Don’t try to learn all of LA at once: Start with the areas that fit your priorities and explore from there.
